Professional coach, Akinboni Koleola Benson, popularly known as Osebaba in Ondo kingdom has partnered with Silver Gold Hotel, Barracks Road, to show the finals of the AFCON between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Ivory Coast on Sunday 11th February 2024 by 9:00pm. He has invited both young and old in Ondo kingdom to rush to the aforesaid hotel and enjoy the match.
Interestingly, watching the match at the venue will attract some money, especially for the first twenty (20) people who arrive the viewing center and predict the correct scores will get N5,000.
So far, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have put up an impressive performance, not losing any match in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which commenced on 13th January 2024.
Osebaba is the organiser of the popular Women Football Competition in Ondo kingdom Ondo state, tagged: OSEBABA CUP. The competition has helped skillful Ondo girls, secure a place in the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL). The grassroot football expert has also deemed it fit to provide an opportunity for all fans to watch the AFCON final match in his home town.
The Internationally Certified Coach expressed the hope that the national team will triumph in the match because the team has so far shown capacity and technical know-how to win.
The Chairman and CEO of Makinz Sports Promotions Ltd also recalled that Nigeria has been crowned AFCON champions three times, finished second on four occasions and came third place eight times.
Osebaba also hinted that preparations are ongoing for the 2024 edition of the Annual Women Football Competition, the OSEBABA CUP.
Considering his zeal to make more impact with grassroot football, Osebaba has also organised several competitions in Ondo, Abuja, Europe and the United Kingdom. He is also the proud owner of the prestigious Makinz Football Club, located in Abuja, Nigeria.
Osebaba is currently preparing some young talented boys for football trials in Sweden and the United Kingdom.
