Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, has become most sought-after striker among clubs in the Top 5 leagues in Europe, Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, said.
This development comes as a result of the feat of the prolific player who joined Bayer Leverkusen for €20m from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise last transfer window.
His superb performance has also made him one of the most dreaded strikers in Europe.
With regards Boniface’s performance and the reason he is the most sought-after striker in Europe, Romano said, “Top clubs from different countries are keeping a close eye on Victor Boniface, doing fantastic at Leverkusen,” the transfer expert wrote.
“He won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award three times in a row. Top impact.”
Newcastle, Real Madrid and Liverpool are some of the clubs that have reportedly placed the youngster on their wish list.
So far, Boniface has scored seven goals and five assists in 11 Bundesliga games, which has earned for him league’s Player of The Month and Rookie of The Month awards for August, September and October while also getting nominations for best player of the month in September.
The Nigerian also holds the record for the most shots in the Bundesliga this season, based on the statistics released in the middle of September.
