Three children and three adults have been confirmed dead after a mass shooting occurred in Nashville Tennesse on Monday.
According the to the police, the incident has thrown ccommunities in the mood of mourning after victims were killed at a private Christian elementary school, the Covenant School.
Interestingly, a flyer for the event shared by Mayor John Cooper said there is a plan “to mourn and honor the precious lives lost at The Covenant School,” as the city of Nashville plans to hold a vigil Wednesday night.
So far, Evelyn Dieckhaus, 9; Mike Hill, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; Cynthia Peak, 61; Hallie Scruggs, 9; and William Kinney, 9 have been declared as victims of the shooting.
Authorities have reported that the six victims were targeted randomly.
In reaction to the situation, President Biden said he has not spoken to any of the families of the victims but stated that he is “working on that now”.
