Manchester United fans have reacted to the disappointing 3-0 score and performance of the Reds, after their defeat to Bournemouth.
The fans’ usual cheering up and acknowledgement of Manchester United players was the opposite during the match between both teams.
The fans rather expressed their unhappiness with boos at half time and boos at full time continuously in the stadium on Saturday.
The only cheer some United fans enjoyed was at the expense of their No.9’s removal.
On the winning side, Bournemouth fans actually asked for more like Oliver Twist. They said, “We want four, we want four,”
They got a fourth but it was ruled out. This was their first-ever win at Old Trafford and they delighted in a rendition of “Old Trafford is falling down”.
Red fans later extended their displeasure to Erik ten Hag who was subjected to a chorus of “You’re getting sacked in the morning”.
Meanwhile, a gaggle of United players were booed as they approached the tunnel by those who remained beyond the final whistle.
United who have been 3-0 down four times in three months have lost 11 times this season and have a goal difference of -3 in the Premier League.
Ten Hag disputed the suggestion United were in a crisis in midweek. A 3-0 reverse to Bournemouth constitutes one.
Thousands had headed for the gangway by the time the Bournemouth followers chirped “Can we play you every week?” They are another club with a relatively new coach who has imposed his style swiftly.
