Mohbad: Abeokuta Youths Protest, Demand Justice For Late Artiste

Abeokuta Youths have hit the streets of Panseke in Ogun State, to demand Justice for popular musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mhobad, who died last Tuesday.

The youths gathered in their numbers at the skating ground arena in Abeokuta wearing blacks and carrying placards with inscriptions such as #JusticeForMohbad, #Who off Light among others, The Punch reports.

Going memory lane, the issue started when Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley died at the age of 27.

In reaction to the death of the artiste, Naira Marley mourned the death of Mohbad describing him as “more than an artiste or signee but brother and dear friend” to him.

However, The Lagos State Police Command on Monday inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to probe the mysterious death of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Lagos State Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa on Monday said, “Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it (the death of Mohbad) will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement.”

Below are few pictures from the protest.
