All Roads Lead to Eagle Square as APC Holds 2026 National Convention
ABUJA — The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to host over 8,400 delegates at its 2026 National Convention, scheduled to tak place on March 27 and 28 at Eagle Square.
Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Co-Chair of the Convention’s media and publicity committee, Mohammed Idris, confirmed the arrangements during a press briefing at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
The high-profile gathering will have i. attendance, The President of The Federal Republic of of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, 32 state governors, party chieftains, and various elder statesmen within the APC fold.
In anticipation of the massive influx of participants and the need for heightened security, the Federal government directed civil servants working at the Federal Secretariat in Abuja to work from home on Friday, March 27.
Consequently, all access roads leading to and around the Federal Secretariat Complex, Phases I, II, and III, remain closed to the public to ensure the smooth conduct of the convention.
