Wike-Backed PDP Set For National Convention
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Caretaker Working Committee (NCWC), backed by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike is set to hold its national convention slated for today and tomorrow.
Delegates and party’s supporters have already gathered at the Velodrome inside the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja the venue of the exercise.
The two-day convention is expected to bring together delegates from across the federation to elect or affirm new national officers to steer the party into the 2027 electoral cycle.
Already at the venue, ballot boxes have been positioned at the center of the Velodrome in readiness for the exercise.
