Arsenal football club young star, Bukayo Ayoyinka Saka, has arrived Lagos Nigeria, and paid visit to his ancestral home and other parts of the country.
The winger who played huge role for Arsenal in the 2022-23 season campaign, in their quest to win the English Premier League title, stormed the city of Lagos in excitement and was received with warm welcome from Nigerians at Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
The 21-year-old English international, whose parents hail from Nigeria has made meaningful impact in global football which has attracted football fans and enthusiasts around the world and the West African country.
His arrival into the country triggered excitement and jubilation from football fans both on social media and those who have been watching him play in the English Premier League.
On the reason for his sudden visit into the country, there are rumours that he has embarked on a personal journey to see his old friends and spend time with his extended family while others have disclosed that he has come to support grassroots football initiatives or participating in charitable endeavours as well as explore opportunities to give back to the community which he emerged from.
Interestingly, the visit of talented player into the country has become a source of encouragement to young people in the country, considering his rise from the country to stardom.
