His team mates, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez also joined Salah to score a brace while Roberto Firminho made the goals tally seven with a superb finish.
The triumph for the Reds has obviously become a relief for Jurgen Klopp’s team who have been struggling to be at the top of the EPL table.
The win has also ended United’s record, making them to succumb to the second defeat in 23 games in all competitions.
This development has taken United remains 14 points adrift of leaders Arsenal in third. This result may end United’s hopes of a first league title in a decade.
