Women in Mining Donates New Crown for Miss Universe Nigeria 2025

A newly designed crown was unveiled on Saturday night as Miss Anambra emerged winner of the 2025 Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.

The crown, crafted by Nigerian jewelry designer Kiki Lucas, was donated by Women in Mining Nigeria (WIMIN), one of the official partners of the competition. It will be worn by the new queen as she represents Nigeria at the global Miss Universe contest later this year.

Speaking before the coronation, Adesuwa Dan-Princewill, Chairperson of WIMIN, said the crown was made with precious stones sourced from Nigeria and supplied by members of the association.

> “The winner will be wearing our product to represent Nigeria on the global stage. The crown is not only beautiful, it gives Nigeria a unique sense of identity. This is about showcasing our jewelry to the world and redefining beauty inside and out,” she said.

WIMIN, an organization that promotes women’s participation in the mining sector, explained that the donation aligns with its mission of supporting local value addition, jewelry trade, and women’s empowerment.

The third edition of Miss Universe Nigeria, organized by the Silverbird Group, climaxed with dazzling performances, cultural displays, and the crowning of the new queen in Lagos.
