Wike Pulls Out of Agreement To Resolve PDP Crisis

The crisis rocking the PDP may be far from being over as the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike resolved to pull out from previous agreements and reconciliation drive

In a statement he personally issued on Sunday, Wike accused Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State of frustrating on-going efforts to resolve lingering crisis particularly the return of Samuel Anyanwu as the PDP National Secretary in obedience to the Supreme Court judgment

Wike said events unfolding after the meeting in Ibadan where the PDP Governors and himself agreed that Samuel Anyanwu should be allowed to return to the National Secretariat, reveal that Governor Makinde and some PDP Governors are working against the Ibadan accord

According the FCT Minster, Governor Seyi Makinde allegedly connived with Peter Mba of Enugu State to orchestrate the summoning of the meeting of so-called South-East leaders to recommend that if Ude Okoye was not adopted as Secretary, they would pull out of the PDP

Mr Wike said he has since granted an interview to the effect that, the resolution of the South-East leaders can not hold

He expressed grace concern that the alleged dishonesty and lack of trust amongst key stakeholders have continued unabated, adding that he has firmly decided to pull out of all agreements hitherto reached to resolve the crisis and vowed to fight on until justice is attained.
