The Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria has called on the National Assembly to expedite action on the passage of the whistle blowing bill before the senate.
At the end of a two-day conference, the Chairman, Conference of Speakers and the Speaker Kebbi State House of Assembly, Abdulmumin Kamba commended the Federal Government for the fight against corruption.
They called for strong synergy among agencies charged with the responsibility of fighting corruption and urged them to do it within the ambit of the law.

Menwhile,  the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah says the Federal Government targets top hundred in the world ranking ease of doing business index before the end of this administration. 

The minister who disclosed this at the inauguration of the Financial Reporting Council Board in Abuja said the immediate task was to move up 20 places from its present position of 159. 

He has therefore challenged the reporting council to embrace government reforms as it concerns the economy towards rebuilding confidence in investors and other relevant stakeholders.
