Suspected militants have kidnapped four British Nationals in Delta State.
 
Police and community leaders say the four had been providing free medical care and religious activities in the Burutu Area of Delta state, the spokesman for Delta State Police, Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the kidnapping.

In Rivers State, two pupils are now hospitalized in Port Harcourt, following a panic in schools yesterday after a rumor of vaccination of pupils by the military.
 
The situation led to some parents hurriedly withdrawing their children from schools in port-harcourt.
 
In a swift reaction, the state Commissioner for Health Professor Princewill Chike described the rumor as baseless and untrue.

Spokesman of the six division of the Nigerian Army Colonel Aminu Iliyasu, confirmed that its men are not involved in any vaccination exercise in Rivers state.
