The Lagos State Government says it will arraign suspected kidnapper, Chukwu-dum-eme Onwu-ama-dike, also known as Evans  before Justice Hakeem Oshodi of the Lagos High Court, Ikeja, today.
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adeniji Kazeem is expected to lead the prosecution.
Meanwhile, the Federal High court in Lagos failed yesterday to deliver judgment in the N300 million fundamental rights enforcement suit brought against the Nigeria police by Evans
The police claimed that the Inspector General and the Nigeria police force had not been party to the proceedings and the court could not go ahead with judgment without hearing from both parties.

Meanwhile, a suspected human trafficker, Paul Alanla, has been arrested by the police in Ogun State.
He was arrested for distribution of children between the ages of six and 13 years from across the country in exchange for cash.
The Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu also paraded 38 others for various criminal activities.
He assured residents of the state of continued safety and appealed to citizens to always provide useful information to assist police in intelligence gathering.
