The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has dismissed the recent sallah audio  message of ‎ President Muhammadu Buhari as absolute lies.

The governor says the president is suffering from voice impairment in a West-End London Hospital and could not have sent the message.

Addressing journalists in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, the governor noted that there had been no official statement on the health status and whereabout of the president since he travelled abroad for treatment 53 days ago.

Fayose, who issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the presidency to discountenance his claims, threatened to reveal further details on the hospital if there was no official statement from the government.

Menawhile the socio-economic rights and accountability project has asked the Federal Government to publish details of spending of the N388.3 billion London Paris club loan refunds allegedly diverted and mismanaged by 35 states.

This follows the ruling of a Federal High Court presided over by Justice Muslim Hassan that granted SERAP leave to seek an order of mandamus compelling the government to publish.

Justice Hassan while granting leave stressed that it was important for the authorities to explain how they spent the money.”
