Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of students in Lagos Model College Igbo-Nla, Epe.
 
The Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Inspector- General of police, said the suspects were arrested yesterday in Benin, the Edo State capital.
 
According to ACP Abba Kyari, the three suspects arrested have been involved in various kidnap incidents within the country.
 
Six students and their principals were kidnapped from the model college in Epe last week.

Meanwhile , the House of Representatives has called on the Inspector General of Police to spare no efforts towards rescuing the kidnapped students of Lagos Model College Igbonla.
 
The law makers condemned spate of kidnapping in the state saying that this trend may pose a threat to the ongoing investments worth billions of dollars in the Lekki Free Zones.
