The senate has alerted the National Security Adviser, other security agencies as well as financial institutions to the current wave of cyber attacks.

The senate revealed that over 3, 500 Nigerian firms lost about $450 million to cyber attacks

Last week, over 200, 000 computers, in 150 countries, were crippled by ‘ransomware’ which rapidly spread across the globe.

Meanwhile as the practice of law continues to evolve globally due to increased trade relations among countries, the profession in Nigeria must also rise to the occasion in response to these demands.

This is coming from the Nigerian Bar Association, section on business law.

According to the association in order to be relevant in the coming years as practitioners, lawyers need to update their skills in their different areas of practice.
