The former Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin (rtd) wants the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to account for over 60 vessels arrested with stolen crude during his watch and subsequently handed over to the agency.

The former naval chief has written to the Acting Chairman of the commission, Ibrahim Magu, demanding that the agency explains to Nigerians why the suspected oil thieves were never prosecuted.

The letter obtained exclusively by stv news also alleges that there was intelligence information that exhibits would be planted on his property by EFCC operatives.
