Okobaba Sawmill in Ebute-Meta and a Plastic Industry at Barrack Bus Stop along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway have been razed by fire.
The cause of the sawmill infernos is yet to be ascertained but that of the plastic industry was attributed to burning bush at the military cantonment behind the factory. 
General Manager of LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu said the factory fire was curtailed from spreading to the Army Cantonment and other factories around.

Meanwhile the National Emergency Management Agency says 57 different disasters were attended to by emergency agencies in Lagos and Ogun states between Friday and Sunday.
NEMA’s spokesman in the South West, Ibrahim Farinloye who made this known said the disasters in Ogun include a bush burning.
But the General Manager of LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu said they responded to over 40 emergency situations in Lagos alone.
Mister Tiamiyu said the cases included the fire incident at Marina and that of a car with two passengers which  plunged into Mekwen Bridge near Bonny Camp inward Marina on Saturday.
