National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has urged protesters to be patient with President Muhammadu Buhari, insisting that protests cannot solve the problems of Nigeria.
Tinubu  who compared economic recession to traffic congestion told some anti-government protesters that traffic congestion can only delay the arrival time but cannot change the course of the journey.
He said  re-planning, being responsive and  being able to get engaged with the people were the solution.

Meanwhile thhe Federal Government says it has heard the complaints of protesters loud and clear.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo who spoke during a consultative  economic meeting at state house Abuja  said that the government was  aware of the socio economic challenges  facing Nigerians and was working round the clock to improve the situation.
