National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has urged protesters to be patient with President Muhammadu Buhari, insisting that protests cannot solve the problems of Nigeria.
Tinubu who compared economic recession to traffic congestion told some anti-government protesters that traffic congestion can only delay the arrival time but cannot change the course of the journey.
He said re-planning, being responsive and being able to get engaged with the people were the solution.
Meanwhile thhe Federal Government says it has heard the complaints of protesters loud and clear.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo who spoke during a consultative economic meeting at state house Abuja said that the government was aware of the socio economic challenges facing Nigerians and was working round the clock to improve the situation.
