Governors of the six states in the South-west are meeting in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
 
Governor Ajimobi said the Southwest Economic Summit was borne out of the motive to rescue the region from current economic challenges.
 
In attendance are all the governors except that of Ondo Olusegun Mimiko, who was represented by the secretary to the state government.
 
The governors are presently in a closed door meeting and are expected to brief the media on their resolutions.

Issues bordering on economy, security and building of infratructures, according to a source will be discussed.
