Boko Haram has expressed its willingness to negotiate the release of eighty-three more Chibok girls.

Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu said this, days after the release of twenty-one abducted girls.

In an interview with Reuters Foundation, Mister Shehu said leaders of the Islamic State-affiliated group released twenty-one girls on Thursday to assure the Buhari administration their faction held the girls.

The terrorist group released 21 of the 219 girls last Thursday to the Department of State Service.

The release came with the intervention of international oganisation, the Red Cross and Swiss Government.

Meanwhile, the 21 freed girls had since reunited with their families, shortly after a thanksgiving service in Abuja on Sunday.
