Aisha, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed her displeaure with the political scene in the country, saying the present administration has been hijacked by cabals.

She said this in an interview with BBC on Thursday. She called for a shakeup in government, which to her will lead the country in the right direction.

Mrs. Buhari expressed her displeasure with the appontment made so far by his husband led government, describing most of the office holders as cabals.
 
Aisha Buhari said the president "does not know" most of the top officials he has appointed.
 
She said "few people" were behind presidential appointments. The president's wife stated that she might not back his husband come 2019 if nothing is done to change the status quo. "I will not mobilize any woman to vote," she said.

She said that those who now occupied some federal agencies were called out of their homes to take positions, adding that they were not there when during the 2015 presidential election.

"Some do not even have voter's card," she lamented.
