The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, has denied allegation that he demanded kickback from United States-based Attorney, Mr. Godson Nnaka.
Mr Nnaka is laying claim to 40 per cent of $458 million loot which the US government seized from late military dictator, General Sani Abacha.
Abubakar Malami said the only communication his office had with Godson Nnaka or his counsel was “only out of professional courtesy.”
The minister had earlier said that Godson lacked the right to represent Nigeria and that he never practised in Maryland US where he claimed to have been practising.
The lawyer, Godson had said that he would sue Malami.
