Liverpool legend John Barnes has tipped Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City to do well as the English Premiership begins tomorrow.

Barnes who works as a commentator and pundit for SuperSport spoke on Silverbird's Sports Cafe this morning, saying that the quality of managers at the clubs will propel them to be among the top four.

Jose Mourinho has just staged his comeback to the EPL as Manchester United manager, Pep Guardiola will be coaching Manchester City while Antonio Conte leads the Blues.

Despite being a Liverpool fan and former player, Barnes argued objectively adding that the club might struggle to be at the first four.

Suprisingly, the former English player did not mention Arsenal. He said that Leicester City might not win the league again but could occupy 6th position in the league table.

On Rio Olympics, the footballer turned rapper expressed his dismay at how Nigeria treats its players.

The Dream Team VI are currently protesting unpaid allowances against both the Nigeria Football Federation and the Federal Government.
