The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has seized six choice properties allegedly acquired by Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State with public funds.
The duplexes, estimated at N1.35 billion include four in Lagos and two in Abuja.
They were allegedly acquired for him by his associates.
But one Mrs. Ladeji has approached the Federal High Court, Ado-Ekiti laying claim to one of the Abuja duplexes.
Also EFCC has questioned the Director General and 24 other officials of a Federal Government parastatal under the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
It is over the withdrawal of $219, 000 that’s about N66 million from the account of the Nigerian Technical Cooperation Fund.
The money, which was meant to provide some development projects for some African countries in 2013 fiscal year, was jointly managed by the African Development Bank and the Nigerian Technical Cooperation Fund, and domiciled in the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
