The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN has ordered its members to leave their duty posts in all oil installations and offices throughout Nigeria as from Thursday.

PENGASSAN has also ordered its four zones, which include Lagos zone, Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna zones to commence sensitization of its members with details of the planned action.

The union cited the inability of the Federal Government to honour agreements reached with it as the reason for calling for the strike.

With this, there are indications that fuel scarcity may surface again despite the N145 per litre pump price.
