Visitors and occupants of the Kara Cattle Market, Isheri, Ogun State have expressed shock and surprise at water hyacinth that has suddenly taken over a session of the river within the business area. 

The development attracted quite a number of persons to the scene‎ who described the incident as unbelievable.

According to eye-witnesses, the hyacinth surfaced gradually on friday before it captured the entire space on Saturday. 

Ogun Government had planned to relocate traders at the market to a new site to pave way for a new infrastructural development.

The State Governor actually visited the place before now and ordered the traders to move to Shagamu interchange.

Since he made the prnouncment, no action had been taken to enforce the law until Saturday when part of the river at Kara suddenly dried up with hyacinth covered the place.
