The Governor of Bayelsa State Henry Seriake Dickson has urged militants in the Niger Delta to dialogue  with  the Federal Government and end the destruction of oil facilities in the region.
Governor Dickson spoke on the sidelines of a meeting with the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Ibe Kachukwu and the Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty programme Paul Boroh visited him at the government house, Yenagoa.

The Niger Delta Avengers had blown up many oil facilities belonging to various private oil companies, including NNPC in the last few weeks.
