Jamie Vardy looks to be edging closer to committing his future to Leicester and turning down the opportunity to join Arsenal, according to Bleacher Report.

The England international will reportedly sign fresh terms with the Foxes if he remains, leaving the Gunners to search elsewhere for a striker to supply competition for Olivier Giroud.

Vardy would be walking away from perhaps his final opportunity at a big move, given he turns 30 in January. Leicester are set for a Champions League campaign next season, and with Claudio Ranieri playing to his strengths, Vardy may feel staying gives him the best chance at an extended spell in the England setup.
