There is no doubt that Chelsea under Guus Hiddink have improved and will be going to tonight UEFA Champions League against PSG with a bit of confidence.

At this stage, the Blues were knocked out by PSG under Jose Mourinho. But Chelsea new Boss Guus Hiddink says the Blues must take the initiative in their Champions League last-16 tie against Paris St-Germain on Tuesday.

The two teams have been drawn together in the Champions League knockout phase for the third successive season.

Chelsea moved into the 2014 semi-finals with an away-goals win, before PSG won by the same method after a thrilling last-16 tie last season.

PSG are 24 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 as they cruise towards a fourth straight title, but Blanc knows that his team will be judged by their progress in Europe's leading club competition.

"We'll be playing at a level we're not used to seeing in our national league," said the former France captain, 50.

"Now from a football point of view, people think PSG is able to win the Champions League. That's very good. It means we're on a good path."
