Former Nigeria International Julius Aghaowa did great things as Super Eagles striker. A policeman turned footballer. He is retired.

Aghahowa has played for Nigeria at four Africa Cup of Nations, the 2002 World Cup and the 2000 Olympics, as well as playing top-flight football in Tunisia, Ukraine, England and Turkey. He played for the National Team between 2000 and 2007 and scored 14 goals.

Aghaowa in his playing days for Super Eagles showed how prolific a striker should be. He was a torn on the flesh of many defenders across Africa.

Since he quit football and of course the national team, it has been very difficult for Nigeria to get a striker of his calibre. He has a world cup goal against Sweden in FIFA World Cup 2002.
