THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) may invite former Vice President Namadi Sambo over alleged N20 million monthly subvention from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).

During the weekend, operatives of EFCC were sighted at Sambo’s Manyatha Company, an office that belongs to the former president.

Investigations revealed that some bags were relocated to the office from Sambo’s residence and following a tip off, EFCC swung into action to know the contents of the bags.

“Apart from getting N20 million monthly from ONSA, we got tip-off on movement of some bags loaded with hard currency.

“All we did was to investigate this clue by searching the ex-VP’s office in a cautious manner and in the full glare of the employees.

“At the appropriate time, we will inform the public of our findings,” a source at the commission said.
