Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae has said that he is ashamed that his name has been mentioned among those who are involved in the $2.1 billion arms deal.
He said that he did not collect any money from former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki but from the PDP BOT for his party Social Democratic Party members to vote for PDP.
He said, “I have never involved in any shady deal in my life. He described the allegation as plan to blackmail him, adding that the case would be laid to rest as he prepare to present the fully details of what transpired between his party SDP and PDP next week.”
He said the alliance he entered with the PDP was normal in a democracy, saying he did same for Buhari’s defunct All Nigerian Peoples Party, ANPP, in 2007, when Buhari ran as its presidential candidate.
He said: “Some people are still writing spurious nonsense but I intend to address the press sometimes next week, probably in Lagos, to tell my story so everybody can hear and the blackmailers can shut up forever.”
