Lady Gaga walked away with the statue for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture for Television on Sunday for her role on American Horror Story: Hotel, beating out Fargo star Kristen Dunst, Bessie lead Queen Latifah, American Crime's Felicity Huffman and Flesh and Bone newcomer Sarah Hay.
During her speech, Gaga thanked Murphy as well as each of her co-stars individually, calling them "her family forever."
"Thank you for sharing your talent for me," she said. "I wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a singer but music worked out first."
In case you've missed the action on Hotel the season has seen Lady Gaga engaging in bloody threesomes, turning children into vampires, and losing her head.
Needless to say, it's been a crazy ride for the singer, whose casting was the talk of TV back in February of last year.

It has not yet been said officially whether she will be returning for Season 6.

Congratulations to the Countess @ladygaga .
