Having spent three and a half years as Minister of Petroleum, President Muhhamadu Buhari is well qualified to be head the Ministry again.

This was the view of the president Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina while answering questions as the country marked the independence anniversary on Thursday.

He said, “I think the question, we will ask ourselves is: What would the President be bringing to the table, if he is going to supervise the petroleum ministry? He has been Minister of Petroleum for 31/2 years, that is a lot of experience. Those were years that things were done fairly properly in this country.

He explained that though a lot of things had changed since Buhari was Minister of Petroleum, Adesina noted that there are things that never change in life.

These, according to him include integrity, transparency, truth and responsibility. Those things never change and those are the things the President would bring to bear.
