Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has promised his international future to England over Nigeria.He communicated through his father to Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh.   Oliseh offered him the chance to play for the African country.but he turned it down.

But Ibe has confirmed he intends to represent the Three Lions at senior level.
He told Liverpool's website: “It was my choice and it feels the right choice for me.
“I was born here and have played in the younger age groups. I want to take it up to the first team one day.”

In his reaction, Super Eagles Head Coach, Sunday Oliseh confirmed this through his twitter handle, adding that Jordon Ibe's Family Informed him by a Telephone call, that the boy was giving priority to an England call up. “We wish them well,” he said.

However Ibe’s allegiance to England has been generating reactions as his fans back home in Nigeria. “We pray Ibe does not regret his decision,” one of the fans said.
