The national assembly election petition tribunal yesterday continued hearing on the consolidated petition of the former governor of Abia State and the PPA senatorial candidate for Abia north in the last election, orji Uzor Kalu.

Mister Kalu testified as the first petitioner, and principal witness for almost three hours urging that he be declared the winner of the election based on the result of two local governments of Bende and Isuikwuato, district and not Mao Ohuabunwa.

In the cross examination conducted by counsels to INEC and the first respondent, Mike Onyeka, mister kalu admitted that even though he did not monitor elections in any other polling units, the process failed in compliance to the electoral laws.
