The father of Australian actress Nicole Kidman has died after an accident in Singapore on Friday morning.
Dr Antony Kidman was visiting his daughter Antonia, her husband Craig Marran and her six children when he fell after breakfast in his hotel room, the Australian Women's Weekly reported.
Antony's wife Janelle is reportedly in Sydney, while Nicole is thought to be in Nashville, U.S., where she lives with her two children and husband, country singer Keith Urban.
In December, Antony and Janelle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Sydney with a family gathering. Nicole and Keith returned to Australia for the event from their home in Nashville.
Anthony held the position of Director of the Health Psychology Unit and Director of the Foundation For Life Sciences at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital. He was awarded an Order of Australia media in 2005 for his work in clinical psychology.
The family have not commented on the death.
