President Goodluck Jonathan has met with parents of the school girls kidnapped from Chibok as well as those that escaped from their captors promising as he did last week that he would ensure that they completed their education.
The meeting held behind closed doors was attended by the President of the Senate, David Mark, Governors of Borno and Bauchi states as well as Ministers of Education and Finance among other top Government functionaries.
Presidential spokesperson Reuben Abati said the number of people at the meeting was a good representation of critical stakeholders despite media reports that some so called genuine parents had been left behind.
Abati said the President pledged to rebuild Chibok and guarantee protection for children in schools.
