Rumour has it that Eva Mendes is pregnant with Ryan Gosling’s baby.
Mendes, 40, is reportedly seven months pregnant to the Hollywood heartthrob, according to OK magazine.
The couple haven’t made an official statement.
“She’s been ready for motherhood for a while now,” a source, who 'confirmed' the news, told the magazine.
“And to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her.”
Mendes started dating Gosling, 33, in 2011 after co-staring in Place Behind The Pines.
Pregnancy rumours began circulating in February when Mendez refused to use the body scanner at LAX airport.
Mendes reportedly told officers she would not pass through the scanner because she was pregnant. A representative later denied the report.
Joking about the rumours on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Mendes said she doesn’t like going through the scanners.
"You know, those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy. They basically see you naked. And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it. So, I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat down," she said.
A representative for the actress told the Daily Mail: “She has never gone through the scanners at the airport, she has always elected to be hand checked instead.”
While the couple have been reported as having an on-off relationship, Gosling is committed to being a father.
“Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what,” said the source.
But that doesn't necessarily mean he wants to marry.
“Ryan doesn’t think they need to marry just because they are having a baby, but Eva believes it’s important to have their lives fully intertwined.”
The couple recently worked on Gosling’s directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster, together.
Mendes told the Daily Mail it was “the most beautiful experience” she’s had working on a film.
“He really created the most beautiful, collaborative, creative atmosphere on set. I know I'm biased but I don't think it's just coming from me, he's the best,” she said.
Last month, almost a million Gosling fans were fooled into thinking the actor had a baby.
An unofficial Ryan Gosling fan page on Facebook posted a photograph of the actor holding a baby, with a heartfelt message about the year Gosling apparently became a father.
“This father's day, I've decided to tell the story of how I became a father,” a fake post started.
It might have been a hoax, but if the latest reports are true it wasn’t far off.
