Renowned media personality Tyler Perry, has made public the fact that he is ‘ignored in Hollywood.’

Surprisingly, Perry disclosed that, he understands why Hollywood doesn’t treat him as  history-making media mogul.

Perry during an interview with Gayle King of CBS on Tuesday said, “I clearly believe that I’m ignored in Hollywood, for sure,”  “And that’s fine. I get it.”

In a recent development, Tyler Perry Studios, which recently opened last weekend in Atlanta, has been recorded to be one of the largest in existence.

Perry, speaking more and shedding light on how he has been ignored, narrowed his example down to the originality of his contents, which makes up a movie.

Perry was also specific with the content, making reference to the African-American stories, and how it meets the audience target odr specific group of people.

In his words during the interview, he also said:

“My audience and the stories that I tell are African-American, stories specific to a certain audience, specific to a certain group of people that I know, that I grew up with, and we speak a language,” Perry told King about being ignored by the mainstream movie industry.

“Hollywood doesn’t necessarily speak the language.” he said. “A lot of critics don’t speak that language. So, to them, it’s like, ‘What is this?’ ”

On his studio, the 330-acre complex contains 12 sound stages and is reportedly larger than the Burbank, California, lots owned by Warner Bros., Walt Disney Studios and Paramount studios combined. Warner Bros. is owned by CNN’s parent company.
