Nigeria Students studying in private universities across Turkey have been moved by the Turkish Government to public schools in the country where they will pay very little or no tuition fees at all.
This follows the coup attempt in Turkey which led to the closure of many private schools housing foreign students.
The Ambassador of Turkey to Nigeria, Mr. Hakan Cakil disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu in Abuja.
He added that any students electing to return to Nigeria will be doing so as a matter of choice.
There are strong indications that some of the students may not pay tuition or that some waivers may be made to accomodate the students.
