American rapper, Jacques Bermon Webster II, well known as Travis Scott has accepted to bear all the funeral costs for the eight victims who died at his Astroworld Festival on Friday.

This development was confirmed in a statement released Monday by a representative for the rapper and producer.

Free mental health services will also be given to all those affected by the disaster. The services will be made possible by the partnership of the record producer with BetterHelp.

The statement also revealed that, “Travis remains in active conversations with the city of Houston, law enforcement and local first responders to respectfully and appropriately connect with the individuals and families of those involved,”

“These are the first of many steps Travis plans on taking as a part of his personal vow to assist those affected throughout their grieving and recovery process.”

According to sources, there is also a plan by organizers of Astroworld to also do a refund to all ticket holders, both those who attended Friday and those who held tickets for Saturday’s canceled events Separately, CNN reports.

Since the mishap occurred, Scott has been concerned and ready to render assistance in the best way he can to savage the situation.
