President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Ayo Sotinrin as the new Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, effective immediately.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Strategy, released the statement highlighting Sotinrin’s extensive background in both private and public sectors.
Sotinrin’s experience includes leading SAO Agro with significant agricultural projects in Ondo State, and SAO Capital, where he raised over $750 million for development.
He also has public sector experience as Special Adviser in the FCT and has consulted for major international organizations.
President Tinubu emphasized that Sotinrin’s appointment aligns with the administration’s plan to boost Nigeria’s agricultural sector, citing his expertise as crucial for enhancing food security and rural development.
