Nigerian reggae musician, Austin Peter well known as King Wadada, has revealed that the youth in this generation are far from the spiritual part of life.

The Kora Awards winner, while speaking as a guest on “Silverbird Today” also stated that youth in the music industry are doing well, but they need good advice from the bigger people, like the media, and others.

The singer also shared his thoughts on the reason it took him time to release new songs; stressing that he hears from God first before doing his work, which he tagged the great commission.

With confirmation concerning his statement, the songwriter who did a collaboration with fellow music artiste, Oritse Femi affirmed that the spirit of God directed him do a remix with the “Double Wahala” crooner, in order to preach holiness and righteousness.

The award-winning artiste also made comments concerning the kind of music played by the contemporary the youth, emphasising that they youth should obey the commandment of God after communing with the spirit, which will also enhance them to change their lyrics and video which exposes women.

On the role of the media, Wadada said the industry should play the role of screening their songs and video before it is being consumed by listeners and fans.
