The President, Silverbird Group, Guy Murray-Bruce and Managing Director/CEO, Strategic Outcomes Limited, Communications Consultants to TNBA on Friday both revealed the plan to celebrate broadcasters in Nigeria, for their efforts in the broadcast industry.
Mr. Murray-Bruce and and former Editor of The News Magazine, Jenkins Alumuna both discussed about The Nigeria Broadcasting Awards (TNBA), powered by BON, while on News Hub – a Silverbird News 24 morning programme.
He also stated that the essence of the awards is to celebrate people in journalism on radio and television; since a lot of people work tirelessly and they are not recognised.
Speaking further, he revealed that people who should be celebrated are not people on the street but those who understand the ethics of Journalism and broadcasting.
He also said reward makes those who have collected it and the broadcast firms raise the bar and set standards.
The Nigeria Broadcasting Awards, TNBA, seeks to recognise and celebrate broadcasters like professionals in many other industries and sectors.
