Suspected Bandits Attacked The National Park Service Office In Oloka, Orire Local Government Area Of Oyo State On Tuesday Night, Leaving Several Personnel Dead.
The Incident Reportedly Occurred Around 9:00 P.M. On January 6, 2026.
Preliminary Reports Indicate That At Least Five Nps Personnel Were Affected During The Assault.
An Eyewitness From The Local Government, Who Requested Anonymity, Told Our Correspondent John Alabi That Five Officers Were Targeted, Adding That Four Were Confirmed Dead While One Sustained Serious Injury And Is Receiving Treatment.
Confirming The Attack, The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Dsp Ayanlade Olayinka, Says The Assault Was Carried Out By Yet-To-Be-Identified Armed Men Against Of The National Park Service.
