Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has rescheduled his return to Nigeria and he will now be in Abuja by the third week of this month, top officials informed.
Eric Chelle was originally billed to return to Abuja this week.
On his return to Nigeria, he will hold several meetings with his employers, the NFF, as well as other critical stakeholders ahead of next month’s must-win 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The coach has been working under the radar to ensure Nigeria get their faltering World Cup qualifying campaign back on track after they failed to win in four rounds of matches.
Nigeria tackle Rwanda on March 21 in Kigali, before they welcome Zimbabwe to Uyo on March 25 as the 2026 World Cup qualifiers resume in full steam.
