Nigerian football star, Ahmed Musa has become a year older today as he clocks 29 years old.

The multiple award winner has made today a memorable one with a message by taking to his social media timeline to thank God and his family and friends for their support.

Musa, Nigeria’s most-capped player with the 101st international cap in the team’s 2-0 victory over Central African Republic on Sunday said,  “What a time to be alive! It’s my birthday and I have so much to be thankful for. With all that has been going on in the world, I count it a privilege to be alive to celebrate another year.

For the highs and the lows, for my numerous achievements and unending support from family , friends and well wishers as well as my colleagues and officials, I remain super grateful.

Happy birthday to me ”

Musa has surpassed the feats of former captains Joseph Yobo and Vincent Enyeama, who are both on 100 caps for Nigeria.
